Something Olde, Something New was an idea born over 25 years ago when my good friend Julie and I decided to try something new during a time of change in our lives.

What began as a small clothing boutique has evolved into a 3000 square foot space bursting with unique fashions and furnishings. On one side of our shop, you will find consignments of brand-name and current styles in women’s clothing, shoes, handbags, and jewelry. The other half of the shop features traditional and midcentury furniture, seasonal items, vintage home accessories, linens, home décor and collectibles. We receive new merchandise daily.

After years of working together to build our business, Julie began a new adventure in April of 2021, leaving the shop to spend more time with her family and pursue other interests. I am happy to continue with the work we began so long ago.

My staff and I are proud of the way our consignment store has adapted to the needs of our local clients in the Capitol District . ​Over the years, our customers and consigners have become our friends and extended family. We laugh together and take a break from the outside stresses of the world. Your support is why we have been on the Best of Consignment Shop list since 2007!

Our goal years ago was to serve and become part of the community. Today, our pledge remains the same. We don’t want to grow bigger; we want to grow better. Thank you.
